Janna has been a client for many years- since I worked out of my home studio in Garfield Park long ago. She trusted me enough to ask for a blind tattoo- no discussion about subject or technique, no looking at the drawing in advance, no peeking during the session. I gave her my first black background Dutch floral half sleeve, and years later it’s time to rework it and add some color again. I think it was still lovely, even a bit faded- but I’ve learned a lot since we first did it, and welcomed the opportunity to make it glow again.
This is our second rework session, with just a little more to go. Take a look, there’s some bits I really love in there🌿
